Yacht-HQ, LLC has added Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Services to its existing suite of comprehensive yacht installation, maintenance, and repair capabilities.
Yacht-HQ now has an experienced, full-time HVAC+R technician with EPA Section 609 & 608 Universal Certification to diagnose, repair, maintain, and replace climate control and refrigeration systems of all sizes, types, capacities, and manufacturers.
“We install and service split system and self-contained equipment manufactured by Dometic, Webasto, AquaAir, and others, including older Marine Air and CruisAir systems. We even service units made by smaller manufacturers like Ocean Breeze and Flagship Marine” according to Graham Fennie, Yacht-HQ’s founder & owner. “Engine-driven refrigeration compressors and multi-zone chiller systems? Yep we can handle them too.”
“We have invested heavily in developing our technical capabilities – both in terms of our people and our equipment” said Fennie. “Our technicians are EPA and ABYC Certified, and they use the absolute latest-and-greatest equipment including hyper-accurate digital wireless HVAC diagnostic equipment and thermal imaging solutions. You’ll never see our guys using an old-school analog gauge set on a customer’s vessel… that 1970s technology is just not accurate enough for our standards.”
“We can also find and fix even the smallest leaks… assuming that we can physically access the equipment in question” Fennie continued. “Our ultrasonic, ultra-voilet, and refrigerant sensing leak detection capabilities are state-of-the art.”
“With our new equipment we can dial-in the refrigerant charge on a client’s air conditioning system to a temperature-compensated accuracy of 0.1F of superheat or sub-cooling – and we can simultaneously generate an on-the-fly performance & efficiency report that we send from the field directly to the client’s e-mail address in real-time. That way, our client (or the Captain) knows that we did our job as well as possible and there aren’t any questions later.”
Yacht-HQ LLC was founded in 2016 as a Florida Limited Liability Company. It provides a wide range of yacht services along Florida’s east cost from Boca Raton to Vero Beach.
